Brass Nameplate Questions
How many characters can I include on a nameplate?
Our standard nameplate comfortably fits up to three lines of text with approximately 30 characters per line. For longer inscriptions, we offer larger plate sizes that accommodate more text while still fitting inside most shadow box frames.
Can I see a proof before the nameplate is engraved?
Yes. After you submit your text and font selection, we will send you a digital proof showing exactly how your nameplate will look. You can request changes before we begin engraving, so there are no surprises.
What finish options are available?
Our nameplates come in a brushed brass finish as the standard option. We also offer polished brass for a brighter, more reflective look, and an antique brass finish with a darker, aged patina for shadow boxes with a more traditional feel.
How many lines of text can I add?
You can add up to 10 lines of text. Each line has its own font size slider (8pt to 72pt) and bold option. The system shows a warning if text may not fit.
How is pricing calculated?
Custom engraved brass nameplates start at $29 for smaller sizes. Larger nameplates scale reasonably with size. The maximum price is $129, regardless of size.
Can I order multiple nameplates?
